In the Pest Killer Mode it will kill mosquitoes with an instantaneous high voltage of over 1000 volts. The mosquito will be attracted by the two purple super bright LED ultraviolet lights and when the mosquito approaches the light, it will get zapped dead. The Solar Pest Killer can operate up to 6 hours after a full day’s charge in the kill mode.

In the Decorative Mode, it operates like any other Solar Light using a super bright white LED. The high voltage zapper is disabled and after a full day’s charge, in the decorative mode it will operate for up to 8 continuous hours. The Solar Pest Killer is made of ABS material and utilizes 3 super bright LEDs (2 Purple LEDs and 1 White LED).

There are also two ways to install your Solar Pest Killer outdoors. One is to use the garden stake option and stick it into the ground or use the metal hanger to hang the Solar Pest Killer. The Solar Pest Killer is weather proof and contains both mounting options.

The Solar Pest Killer can be operated indoors or in the shade by using the optional charger that will plug into any 115 volt outlet. The solar pest killer operates on two 1.2V 500-600 mAH Ni-CD batteries and the LED are rated for over 100,000 hours so you will never have to change them.
